SIMON KIDGITS CLUB WHIPS UP RECIPE OF FUN FOR SUPER DUPER MINI CHEFS
Giving Kids a Chance to get Creative with Food.
Give kids a chance to play with their food, and they just might make a masterpiece! That’s the thinking behind Super Duper Mini Chefs, a free culinary event kicking off in May at more than 100 Simon® malls nationwide, including Langhorne’s Oxford Valley Mall in the Sears Court on Saturday, May 21 from 11:00am-1:00pm.
Hosted by the Simon Kidgits Club®, Super Duper Mini Chefs combines demonstrations with hands-on activities that encourage kids to have fun and get creative. The event includes demonstrations mixed with hands-on activities, encouraging kids to get creative. Plus, all Simon Kidgits Club members participating in the event will receive a free Kidgits® apron.
Kids also will learn to give back to the community by bringing a non-perishable food item for donation to local food banks.*** Be Good Do Good Moms LOVES this!!
“Kids will love this event for the chance to roll up their sleeves and have fun with food,” said Jayne Stilson, assistant vice president of business development for Simon Brand Ventures, the business-to-consumer arm of Simon Property Group. “And parents will like it because they can spend quality family time together with their kids and have a blast.”
The Super Duper Mini Chefs is one of several programs and events held throughout the year at Simon malls for members of the Simon Kidgits Club, which focuses on health, wellness, education, safety and entertainment for children ages three through eight.
Families can sign up for the Simon Kidgits Club during regular mall hours at Guest Services or online at www.simon.com/kidgits. Membership includes a Simon Kidgits Club membership card and T-shirt, scheduled entertainment and activities for families, a Birthday Club (that includes a gift redemption certificate), unique programs and offers, as well as discounts.

Oxford Valley Mall has announced that it is partnering with Middletown Township to help promote National Health and Fitness Month. There will be fitness classes held within the mall for the entire week starting Monday, May 2 through Saturday, May 7. Middletown’s fitness instructors have collaborated to bring various FREE fitness classes to the mall for the public to enjoy.
From Zumba, to tai chi, to salsa dancing hosted by Kathy Romano from the Preston & Steve Show, there will be an activity for every age to enjoy. Romano along with dance company, Las Estrellas from La Luna Dance Studio will culminate the fitness festivities on Saturday, May 7. Here is the entire week’s fitness schedule held inside the Courtyard at Sears:

Friday 5.6: Yoga Kids 11AM; Dance peformance by Jovo Dance Company 6:00PM
